Los Angeles Woman Shot And Killed In DTLA Hotel

A woman  was shot and killed on the fourteenth floor of a hotel  midtown Los Angeles Monday night, as reported by the Los Angeles Police Department

It occurred around 11 p.m. at the Hayward Hotel International on W. sixth Road. Police at first responded to  an attack with a deadly weapon call.P

Policeindicated that the victim was a black woman  in her 40’s. Police said she lived on the fourteenth floor of the hotel and was shot there. Somebody carried her to the anteroom where she passed on.

Police are investigating the likelihood that there are numerous suspects in the shooting.

The reason for the shooting remains under investigation . It doesn’t seem, by all accounts, to be gang  related, police added
