Support Herbal Medicine To Grow – Dr. Mensah Bonsu Tells Medical Doctors

adminBy adminJuly 27, 2022

By Alex Ababio

A renowned medical practitioner and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prophecy Scientific Herbal Clinic, Noble Dr Elijah Mensah- Bonsu has admonished medical doctors to openly endorse herbal medicine wholeheartedly and refrain from indiscriminately condemning the use of herbal medicine in the country.

He expressed deep concern about attitude of some medical doctors at various public hospitals who discourage patients from taking herbal medicine as they continuously spread falsehood that herbal medicine can jeopardize their health since it comes with so many health complications .

“When patients visit the hospital, doctors during consultations ask their patients to stay away from herbal medicine because they claim it comes with so many health complications, but i must insist it is not true.”, he noted

He, therefore ,urged medical doctors to put an end to such condemnation and embrace the use of herbal medicine in the country since apart from its potential health benefits, it can create massive employment opportunities for Ghanaians and invariably contributes to the growth of Ghana’s economy. .

The Awards winning Herbal Doctor argued that herbal medicines have potency of curing and treating chronic diseases such as malaria, cancer ,stroke among others with no side effects.

Dr. Mensah Bonsu in an exclusive interview with Ghanaian Watch Online , however, conceded that they are some fake herbal medicine producers who have saturated the Ghanaian market with some concortion and thus called on the Food and Drugs Authority,FDA, to collaborate with the Ghana Police Service to clamp down on such fake herbal practitioners to ensure sanity prevails in the industry.

Speaking in connection with the kind of diseases his facility is prominently known for treating , Dr Mensah-Bonsu passionately noted that they are specialized in treating Malaria,Hypertension, Hepatitis B’ , among other chronic diseases.
