First Female SRC President Elected For Islamic University College

Islamic University College, Ghana (IUCG) has chosen interestingly, a female as leader of the Students Representative Council (SRC).
Asiya Rufai, a Level 300 Communications student having some expertise in Public Relations, won the election with 52.67% votes to beat the Vice President Ibrahim Jaiden Zakari.

Asiya Rufai is the second female to challenge the SRC administration however the first to win the space.

The portal , thezongomail.com which reported her election , cited her as saying it is time ladies took up positions of authority both in school and in the general public and she attributed her victory as a permanent outcome in the existence of IUCG.

“She encourages all ladies not to withdraw from their fantasies and accept any spine-breaking debilitation as a type of inspiration to endeavor harder in accomplishing more prominent levels.”

Asiya Rufai picked a male Vice President, Ismaila Nortey Dowuona, a Level 300 Religion student.

She expects utilizing her position to proceed with the benevolent acts of the past administration and furthermore work resolutely in accomplishing her policies to carry change into the establishment.

As indicated by her, IUCG has served the local area throughout the long term and that it is the ideal opportunity for the foundation to be responded.

Islamic University College is an Islamic tertiary organization in East Legon, Adjiriganor in the Greater Accra Region.

The College is associated to the University of Ghana, Legon and authorize by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
