Anti War Slogans Broadcast On Russian TV Screens Before Victory Day Parade

adminBy adminMay 9, 2022

Russian satellite television broadcast were changed on Monday to show viewers in Moscow messages about the war in Ukraine: “You have a blood on your conscience”, screenshots reveals .

The photos showed Moscow satellite TV menus on Victory Day, when Russia commemorated the 77th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s triumph over Nazi Germany, with every station showing anti war slogans .

You have the blood of thousands of Ukrainians and many dead kids on your hands,” said one message.

“The TV and the authority are lying. No to war,” read another.

It was not immediately clear the way in which the slogans showed up. Interfax news office said the slogans showed up on satellite TV too after they were hacked.

A Russian news site additionally showed anti war material that was profoundly incredulous of Putin. It was not promptly clear the way that the negative articles showed up. They quickly vanished.

Triumph Day

The slogans showed up not long before the Victory Day march on Red Square, at which President Vladimir Putin contrasted the war in Ukraine with the Soviet fight to overcome Adolf Hitler in World War II.

Russia’s February 24 intrusion of Ukraine has killed thousands of people ,displaced millions more, and raised fears of the most serious showdown among Russia and the United States since the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis.

Putin says the “special military operation” in Ukraine is fundamental on the grounds that the United States was using Ukraine to undermine Russia, and Moscow needed to shield against the oppression of Russian-speaking people .

He gives the contention a role as an inescapable showdown with the US, which he blames for compromising Russia by interfering in its back yard and amplifying the NATO military partnership

NATO and Ukraine deny they were a danger to Russia. Ukraine says it is fighting a magnificent style land snatch and Putin’s cases are lnonsense.
