The Sunyani Police have arrested a 20-year-old mother, Ellian Zumeseh, for supposedly abandoned her three-month-old male twins in a well on purpose .
The police told reporters that the well is in the house where the mother of the twins stayed at Abetifi Zongo, a suburb of Sunyani.
According to the police incident which happened at around 1.30 a.m. Monday, tossed the suburb into a condition of shock and incredulity.
The lifeless body of the twins were seen as drifting in the well, which drew the attention of certain individuals from the household.
Superintendent of Police (ASP) Augustine Kingsley Oppong, the Bono Regional Police Public Relations Officer (PRO), journalists that a business woman in the neighborhood, helped by two police, arrested and sent the suspect to the Sunyani Police Station.
“After the police had gotten a report on the obnoxious act, a team of police was dispatched to the scene at Abetifi Zongo, where they saw the remains of the twins drifting in the well.
