Provide Logistics for Our Campaign—NPP Identifiable Group Appeals

A special appeal has been made to the national leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to swiftly provide logistics and other essential campaign materials to support the efforts of the party’s Identifiable Group in the Ashanti Region.

The group is mobilizing to campaign vigorously across the country ahead of the December 7 general elections.

Dr. Musah Ababio, popularly known as Mallam Isaah, who coordinates the Identifiable Group, emphasized the urgency of this support. “If the NPP is serious about its goal to ‘break the eight’ in the upcoming elections, there is an immediate need for backing from the presidency and the National Executive Committee (NEC),” he stated.

According to Dr. Mallam Issah Ababio, the group he leads boasts a membership of approximately 20,000 people. These include supporters from Bawumia and Samira clubs, NAPO clubs, as well as Friends of NAPO, Young Patriots, Allied Drivers, Nana Pepeh, Friends of Onyinah, and Samira Ladies, spread across all 47 constituencies in the Ashanti Region. “With adequate provision of resources such as T-shirts and funding, our group can significantly contribute to the NPP’s chances of securing victory,” he noted

He further observed that while the members are fully committed to the campaign, the lack of essential paraphernalia should not be allowed to hinder their ability to engage in door-to-door canvassing. “We must not let the absence of campaign materials be a stumbling block in our efforts. Immediate action is required within the next two months as we approach the elections,” he urged the members.

Reflecting on the achievements of the NPP, Dr. Mallam Issah Ababio recalled that the party inherited a struggling economy from the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC). “The NPP has made life easier for Ghanaians through its social and economic interventions such free SHS Policy ,” he claimed.

He expressed confidence that, if elected, both Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) would continue the work of reviving Ghana’s economy. “Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Prempeh have the expertise and commitment to restore economic stability,” he said, calling on Ghanaians to vote for the NPP in the December elections.

Dr. Mallam Issah Ababio also reminded voters of the NPP’s past successes, including free maternal healthcare, increased cocoa production, and the introduction of the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy under former President John Agyekum Kufuor and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo respectively. He promised that similar policies are in store should the NPP win, and confidently predicted a decisive “one-touch” victory for Dr. Alhaji Bawumia.
