Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the immediate past General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress Congress, NDC, has been elected National Chairman of the party .
At the National Congress organised on Saturday , December 17 ,2022 Asiedu Nketiah polled 5,569 of the valid vote cast representing 65.17 percent of the total vote cast to win the election.
His nearest rival , Samuel Ofosu Ampofo polled only 33.81 of the total vote cast.
