Chinese Supervisor  Who Purportedly Slashed  Throat Of Ghanaian Worker To Be Charged Today

The Chinese Business man  who purportedly cut the throat of a Ghanaian worker  at Kweikuma in the Western region  on Wednesday is to be summoned today.This follows his arrest  on Thursday, September 29.

The suspect (Xue Tint) was arrested for using  a offensive weapon to harm.

“The Police have arrested  a Chinese national for using an offensive  weapon to truly hurt his Ghanaian worker at a building site at Kweikuma suburb of Takoradi, in the Western region ,” the Police said in an official statement.

As per the Police, he is presently in custody and will be put before the court today [Friday, September 30.

In the mean time, the suspect is in custody asdisting the investigation and will be put the court on September 30, 2022, to confront equity.

The victim, Isaac Boateng is reported  to have been attacked when he stood up to his Chinese supervisor over unpaid salary.

 Paulichenda Engineering  is a Chinese company  that has been contracted to construct edifices  near the apartments of the Ghana Naval force flats at Kweikuma.

Speaking to  Takoradi-based connect  FM, colleagues of the victim said they have been working for a really long time without pay.

Consequently, the Ghanaian workers held a meeting  where they discussed the issue and chose Mr Boateng to be their delegate.

As indicated by different employees , it was during this experience that emotions raged up.

“We have worked for the entire month and our salaries had not been paid so we had a meeting  and one of our partners went to the Chinese manager to figure out what was the issue with the salaries  since we have families and we are likewise owing certain individuals,” some of them described.

“In the intensity of the contention, the Chinese manager pulled a flick knife  and slashed  the throat of our colleague. He caused deep  injuries in his throat , blood traces  could been seen  all over,” another added
