I am Disappointed In Akufo-Addo And NPP – Reverend Owusu Bempah Explains Why

adminBy adminAugust 2, 2022

The founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, has made sense of the circumstances surrounding his not-great connection with the president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He made this statement on Accra-based Okay FM,indicating that he was frustrated in both the president and NPP for sitting reserved for the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akuffo Dampare, to implement a regulation prohibiting prophecies that he (the IGP) claimed could cause fear and panic .

Reverend Owusu Bempah noted that the NPP and the president were beneficiaries of prophecies in opposition prior to winning political power.

He deplored that at that point, the ban on prophecies , that evidently made fear and panic was not enforced , in any case, the NPP Government upon assumption of power looked on for the IGP to introduce such an order.

The man of God considered as a one-time close partner of the president demonstrated that he anticipated that Nana Akufo Addo should have called the IGP to order when he gave the announcement.

“It is a result of prophecies that I am disappointed. Each Ghanaian realizes that prophets had a significant influence for a prophetic word to come that God has picked Nana Addo to be president. I accept they battled yet the requests of pastors and vision we had about Nana Akufo-Addo had a significant influence for Ghanaians to cast a ballot enormously for him.

A hand and prophecy spirit that has brought you into power, (yet) at a point IGP comes to say no one ought to prophesize for it (prophecy) to cause fear and panic . At the time you weren’t in power, you hailed prophecies and were cheerful about it. For that ‘fear and panic ‘ was not operationalized.

“Assuming God utilized prophets to bring you into power and I was believing that when that’s what dampare said, the president would call him and tell him not to pursue prophets and pastors with the directions to pass on righteous men to work.

“A prophet can prophesize and he will be put behind cells. I have never seen this. I don’t grasp it. That has made me disheartened in the NPP. It isn’t just the NPP. I’m frustrated in the IGP and Nana Akufo-Addo for him to plunk down and look on for prophets to be rested ,” Reverend Owusu Bempah said.

The man of God further spoke to the president and authorities to permit pastors to work without obstruction.

“I argue that pastors and prophets be permitted to take care of their responsibilities. The law can manage any pastor who does in opposition to the law and against the state,” he added.

The Ghana Police Service leading the pack up to the 2021 31st December Watchnight Service gave an assertion forewarning men of God to cease from prophesizing destruction as it had the inclination of making fear and panic .
This prompted many ceasing from what has turned into a normal component of Watchnight service , notwithstanding, a number of them including Owusu Bempah and Prophet Nigel Gaisie used enigmatic language in prophesying .
