Tepa-Bomfa Farmer Killer Remanded Into Police Custody

Asokwa District Court 4 Presided over by Her Worship Afia Densi Asare Kyire has remanded the 25-year-old farmer Godfred Aladago who gruesomely butchered two females Rose Asibi 29 and Rachel Alale 17 to death at Bomfa, near Tepa in the Ashanti Region.

The accused Godfred Aladago popularly known as Godey who has been remanded into police custody is to reappear on July 1st 2022.

The accused Aladago is currently charged with murder.

The prosecution team led by lawyer ACP Kofi Blagodzi pleaded with the court to remand the accused in order to grants the police time to continue with investigation.

BACKGROUND

The people at Tepa-Bemfa a village in Ahafo Ano North Municipality in Ashanti region were thrown into shock last Sunday when the news of killing of Rachel Alale and Rose Asibi was dropped.

Speaking to Tepa Divisional Crime Officer Vincent Adottey on Fox fm’s evening talk show dubbed Ewiase b3n ni lwith Agya Wusu aka The Gong, he explained that lol lthe suspect accused the deceased family of allowing their flocks to feed in his farm.

According to the Divisional Crime Officer the suspect Godfred Aladago went to the house of the deceased persons and allegedly killed Asibi and Raheal instantly.

After killing them he again went to Asibi’s husband, Kofi Elijah’s Rice farm but luckily for Elijah he firstly saw Godey and run away.

Aladago Godfred later came to Tepa divisional police station to report that someone wanted to take his life not knowing that the police has already got the information and as result effected his arrest and detained him accordingly in the Tepa police custody, Chief Superintendent Vincent Adottey hinted.

He stressed some relatives of the deceased persons finally came in to report the incident to the police and met the suspect at the police and consequently confirmed the incident.

Chief Superintendent Vincent Adottey further revealed the man reported Himself To Police After Killing woman and her younger sister.

Ghanaian Watch reported that the suspect Aladago Godfred was arranged on Wednesday June 22, 2022 before the law court by the police prosecution to seek for his remand in custody for further investigation to be conducted.
