adminBy adminDecember 17, 2020

The  flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress,NDC in the 2020 Presidential elections,Mr John Dramani Mahama  has described the Electoral Commission under Jean Mensa as the most exceedingly awful in the nation’s set of experiences.

Addressing groups of casualties of the Techiman South shooting incidents, John Mahama said the occurrence would not have occurred if the EC was not bumbling and one-sided.

He said that somewhere else, the director of the Electoral Commission would have been compelled to leave for regulating what he considers to be a manipulated presidential results .

He reprimanded the EC for the incidence and approached Jean Mensa to assume liability for the passing and injury to the individuals.

“However, I should state, things shouldn’t have happened thusly. This isn’t our first Presidential elections . In any case, lamentably, we wind up here because of the inadequacy of this Electoral Commission.”

“In the event that this was a further developed nation, the EC Chairperson would have been compelled to leave in disgrace. Ghana has been labeled as the reference point of vote based system for quite a while, however the EC has dirtied our standing. This EC will stand out forever as the most noticeably awful ever,” Mr. Mahama added.

The NDC flagbearer additionally scrutinized the presence of the military during the decisions.

“We have throughout the long term seen just the police, migration, and fire administrations during elections . The military was possibly required when things turned crazy. So why this time around the military was available? What’s more, to believe that our leader named the passings as a couple. I can’t guarantee political force when even life is lost simultaneously.”

Mahama likewise repeated the NDC position that until a review is done of the results of the 2020 presidential election, it won’t acknowledge it.

“A great deal of things are occurring in the nation’s capital. In any case, as a gathering, we are taking a gander at evaluating the pink sheets to more readily comprehend what occurred in every voting public. At the point when we are through, we will promote our discoveries.”

Techiman South has become a hostile point following a misconception between the two driving political parties over the result of the parliamentary decisions.

Notwithstanding the EC reporting NPP’s Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah being pronounced the champ, the NDC keeps up that the EC authorities were forced by the military and public security authorities to adjust the outcomes in the NPP’s courtesy.

The contradiction finished in some brutality which prompted the slaughtering of one individual.

One other individual was left in basic condition while six others supported discharge wounds.

John Mahama was joined by the NDC General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia; the National Women’s Organizer, Hannah Bissiw; National Chairman Ofosu Ampoffo; the Techiman South Parliamentary Candidate, Christopher Beyere, among others.
