Two Nigerians Arrested For Allegedly Attempting To Kidnap A Ghanaian Child

Two individuals suspected to be Nigerian nationals have been arrested by police in Kasoa in the Central Region for attempting to steal a Ghanaian child. The incident which occurred on Friday, May 20, 2022, has tossed the neighborhood where it occurred into a state of tumult as reports say the kid was snatched while standing by the side of the road in the company of the mother.

As per the media report , three Nigerian suspects had packed their Toyota Camry vehicle under the pretext of buying a thing and when the mother’s consideration was occupied momentarily, they grabbed the youngster

At the point when the mother acknowledged what had happened she begun shouting for help, which pulled in the attention of a man who intensely went all out to rescue the kid.

Speaking to journalists, the one who rescued the child who had been kidnapped momentarily said he needed to move quickly to keep the Nigerians from speeding away with the kid.

“Iwas here purchasing food, when I heard the lady shouting, ‘they’ve taken my kid, they’ve taken my child ‘. So I swiftly halted the vehicle after it turned around sharply,”

He said the suspects begged him to release them, in any case, he demanded that he needed the lady shouting to move toward the vehicle and make sense of what the issue was.

At the point when the lady got to the vehicle, she said, they [the suspects] have taken her kid, and for sure the kid was in the vehicle,” he made sense of.

The youngster’s hero said there were three occupants in the vehicle. Be that as it may, he had the option to apprehend two after one of them took off.

At present, occupants of Kasoa are stressed over the occurrence, as indicated by the report. Scores of residents locally have raged the police headquarters where the suspects are being held.
