I Want To See More Aphalt Roads In Ashanti’ – Otumfuo Demands

adminBy adminAugust 2, 2022

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has demanded to see completion of more asphaltic roads in the Ashanti Region before the end of tenure of President Akuffo Addo in 2024.

The respected King has subsequently called on the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to ensure that all continuous street projects in the district are completed before 2024.

As per him, with the Ashanti Region being the stronghold of the ruling party, residents will keep on requesting more, adding that, it will be in light of a legitimate concern for the NPP to regard to requests public especially those in the Ashanti Region.

The Asantehene Otumfour Osei Tutu II expressed this during the commisioning of the 100 killometres Kumasi City Inner Ring Road and Adjacent Streets Project at Kentinkrono on Monday August 1,2022, by the Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia.

In a speech read for his behalf by the ‘Asakyirihene’ Nana Mensah Bonsu, the King of Asante Kingdom kept up with that, it was incumbent on the government to streamline road infrastructure projects pointed toward reducing congestion in cities across the nation over

.He applauded President Akuffo for the completion of the 100 kilometers inner city roads project and asked him to do more to support the development of the region.
