Remove Striking Civil Servants From Post And Replace Them With Soldiers – Prof Adei

adminBy adminApril 28, 2022Updated:April 28, 2022

Economist Prof Stephen Adei has asked Ghana government to sack all striking members from the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG).

He stressed that the Association’s demand for neutrality allowance is unsuitable and unethical.

It is the most awful I can at any point consider somebody who has worked in the public sector for 35 years . I can’t conceptualize it.

These are individuals who ought to be sacked, and they can apply [again] or remain at home, and I guarantee you that Ghana will be in an ideal situation,” he said.

The workers laid down their tools about seven days ago to protest the non-payment of the disputable neutrality allowance .

On Wednesday, the National Labor Commission (NLC) gave the Association two days to settle its dispute with the government.

However, before the deadline passes , Prof Adei told JoyNews Upfront demands government ought to replace them with the military with the desire for laying them off forever.
