Embrace Fintech To Develop Economy-Economic Expert Tells Government

A Fintech Expert , Koku Mawutor Abraham, has asked Ghana Government to embrace financial technology (Fintech) to help accelerate the growth of the country’s economy and to ensure financial financial consideration.

“Fintech is the only way for Ghana and Africa to excel on the globe . Fintech changed China, Malaysia,Singapore thus numerous nations that we want to embrace to develop to the levels that we have seen the West develop,” he said.

He expressed that even the greater G-10 nations, for example, Italy, Spain, France, UK utilized fintech to develop and in this manner Ghana as a nation can’t bear to miss out in the fintech space universally.

Mr Abraham, who is also the Growth Director for Africa, Taptap Send, an international remittance company expressed this at an event in Accra Tuesday, (December 27, 2022) to reward clients of the company who received remittance from abroad during the festive season .
They were given bags of rice and cooking oil.

Speaking at the event, Mr Abraham said the gesture is to show appreciation to individuals for using their services to get cash from their family members and friends and family from abroad during this festive occasion .

“The gesture is to show our affection to our clients during this Christmas period and to say thank you to them for using our services,” he said .

Beside the gift of the rice and cooking oil, Mr Abraham said, Taptap Send had additionally set out on some Corporate Social responsibility (CSR) as approach to rewarding the general public.

He referenced some of them as supporting the remodel of certain dormitories of a few Senior High Schools (SHSs) and other projects in certain communities .

These projects he said are completely pointed toward assisting with working to improve the living standards of the people .
He added that the company is set to launch a scholarship scheme in 2023 to help needy but brilliant students to seek after university degree.

Mr Abraham stressed that Ghana and Africa besides must choose the option to embrace the pattern for it to have the option to accommodate technology with prosperity and wealth Creation.
