Corruption is wideSpread in Ghana since it has been accepted as daily routine by the entire country – GII

The Fund Raising Manager for the Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII), Ghana’s Chapter of Transparency International (TI), Mr Michael Boadi, has stated that corruption is widespread in Ghana since it has been embraced by the whole country for the purpose of their day to day daily practice.

He has thusly, required a collective effort in opposing and battling all types of corruption to restrict violent extremist in the country.

Mr Michael Boadi expressed this in an interview on the Kumasi based OTEC 102.9 FM’s morning show Nyansapo.

Regardless of a genuinely strong legislative system including a few accountability institutions commanded to handle different types of corruption, the peculiarity is still broadly common in Ghana. It is therefore, eventually, individuals of Ghana who should have their impact in halting corruption “, he explained.

“Indeed, even the Special Prosecutor has communicated his disappointment about Ghana’s battle against corruption, isn’t just the top government officials however I can say that nearly everybody in the nation is to blame”.

Individuals participating in corruption practices , bringing the country down are all Ghanaians, and none in the nation is prepared to join the battle against corruption”.

That’s what he stated , the rising instances of corruption kept in the nation remained an issue and tended to additionally corrupt the nation’s weak economy and prevailed upon all to assist with saving the nation by saying no to corruption.
