Ghana’s Football Legend Asamoah Gyan Pays Visit To Former President John Agyekum Kufuor

Ghana’s Football legend Asamoah Gyan has paid courtesy call on former president John Agyekum Kuffour at his residence at Peduase

The 36-year-old forward was at the home of the former President to welcome him to invite him to his maiden book launch on April 30, 2022.

It is expected that Asamoah Gyan will unveil his most memorable book as he is seeking to detail his cherished life career , and businesses.

The former -Sunderland striker spent quality time with the man alluded to as the ‘ Gentle Giant’ as they discussed his days with the Black Stars.

“Today, I gave former President John Kuffour’s invitation to him at his home at Peduase. Much obliged to you Papa for being there for me,” composed the striker on Twitter.

Gyan and former President John Kufuor’s relationship dates all the way back to 2008, when the then Head of State requested a youthful Gyan to remain in the Black Stars camp after he took steps to leave because of how he was criticised .

The former Stade Rennais striker has invited many top dignitaries including current President Nana Akufo-Addo, CAF President Patrice Motsepe and Senegal legend star El-hadji Diouf.

Ghana’s highest scorer Asamoah Gyan is yet to hang his boots,yet he has repeated his craving to play for Asante Kotoko before bringing his career to an end.

“I might want to play for Asante Kotoko assuming that I need to return [to playing football again]. I really love the club,” Gyan told Accra-based radio station, Joy FM.
